Coeurl has high Magic and Magic Defense. It uses Thundara, Blizzara, Blaster, and when its HP drops below 50%, starts casting Drain.

The easiest way to take them down is by physical attacks. The player can use Silence, or Wakka's Silence Buster to prevent the Coeurl from using some of its attacks.
