It attacks with a physical attack three times in one turn on random party members, and will counter all elemental magic with Frost Blast, dealing heavy Ice-elemental damage to the party. Therefore, the player is advised to stick to regular attacks and Flare for dealing with this foe.

The chimera is a fire-breathing monster, one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. It is commonly represented with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail in Greek mythology. In modern usage, the term chimera is often taken to mean any sort of hybrid between two or more species.
Geist is a German word. Depending on context it can be translated as the English words mind, spirit, or ghost, covering the semantic field of these three English nouns.
