Chimera (Echoes of Time)

Template:IncompleteTable Template:FFCCEoTEnemy Template:See Also The Chimera is an enemy in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Large, lion-like creatures, Chimeras have high HP and ferocious attacks, including the ability to cast level 3 spells (Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga), inflict Blind with their Blind Breath, and knockback players with their Earthquake attack.

Using Blizzard or Thunder spells helps tremendously when dealing with them, as it will temporarily prevent the Chimera from attacking the player. In a group of enemies, they should be dealt with last after all other enemies are defeated so that the player is not interrupted by said enemies when trying to deal with the Chimera.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]The chimera is a fire-breathing monster, one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. It is commonly represented with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail in Greek mythology. In modern usage, the term chimera is often taken to mean any sort of hybrid between two or more species.
