Cheap Shot (ハードショット, Hādo Shotto?, lit. Hard Shot) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series, associated to the Gunner job.

Cheap Shot is an ability of the Gunner dressphere, learned for 30 AP, and part of the Gunplay skillset. At the cost of 8 MP, it deals non-elemental physical damage to one target while ignoring Defense, and a character can learn it only after acquiring Potshot.

Cheap Shot is an active ability which allows the user to deal physical damage (1.2x) to a single enemy while partially ignore its DEF (25%). It can be learned by three Gunner-type units: Artemios (level 33 (5★)), Carrie (level 15 (3★)), and Maxell (level 9 (1★)).
