Charice Pempengco or Charice (born Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco) is a Filipina singer. She rose to fame through YouTube. She started her career as a singer when she joined Little Big Star where she became a wildcard finalist and placed third overall. She also starred in Glee as a foreign exchange student, Sunshine Corazon.

She is known within the Final Fantasy series as the singer of "New World," the vocal theme of the Japanese Xbox 360 and Western releases of Final Fantasy XIII-2.
