Chadarnook is a water-elemental Eidolon from Final Fantasy Dimensions II. It becomes available as a summon for the Deathlord at the start of the Eureka arc and can be obtained as a signet by purchasing it from the Mog Shop for 5,000 gil. Chadarnook's signet teaches the Deathlord Cursra abilities.
Chadarnook's signet provides the Deathlord with adequate HP, MP, and magic stats. Its unlockable passive of restoring 5% of the user's HP when killing an enemy can be useful on lowering the amount of healing needed on him when taking on more challenging battlefields. However despite its decent boost to magic, it is easily outclassed by the later game signets in other stats.
Profile[]
Chadarnook's appearance is based on the boss of the same name from Final Fantasy VI, with it being a demon possessing a painting of the Lakshmi summon. The default version of the signet shows the Lakshmi figure emerging from a portrait covered in mist, similar to the Goddess figure's sprite. As the signet evolves, the portrait begins to sprout vines to reveal Chadarnook itself lurking behind Lakshmi.
Battle[]
Chadarnook's summon attack is Consuming Mist, which lowers the attack and magic for all enemies for five turns. Summoning Chadarnook cost 2 bars from the Summon Gauge.

Development[]
In the original free-to-play versions of the game, the Chadarnook signet was a god-tier water summon that could only be obtained through the game's summon draw shop. However, it taught the Poltergeist ability instead of the Cursra ability. In the premium versions of the game, Chadarnook's Poltergeist ability was removed from the game and replaced with the Cursra ability. Chadarnook was an SS+ rank summon and could be equipped by any party member.
In the release of the premium version, Chadarnook's Lakshmi portion is censored and given a two piece suit to cover her exposed breasts and nude lower half. In the original Japanese free-to-play versions, Chadarnook's Lakshmi portion was nude similar to the female portion's original sprite in Final Fantasy VI.
