StoryEdit

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Celes appears in open fields and is quickly forced to fight her way through the waves of monsters created by the nearby Torsion. She is relieved when she sees Setzer and Cyan, but soon realizes that something is wrong because they do not speak and appear crystalline. Realizing they are imitations, Celes defeats them.

When the real Setzer, along with the rest of the party, find her, Celes takes them for more manikins and prepares to attack until Setzer proves his bona fides by reciting what he knows about her. When the others tell her that there are more friends from her world, Celes realizes that Kefka is also there and asks to join their ranks.

Celes and Terra discuss the manikins and their origins. According to Mog, they are created by Spiritus, but this brings up the topic of Mog's trustworthiness and the group argues. It is agreed that the manikins seem to originate from Torsions, and that they only take the form of people already in the world. Celes speculates that Spiritus creates them after a new person enters the world and puts them under the command of his own warriors. She and Terra decide to ask Mog for more information, but Shadow remarks after they leave that they're wasting their time.
