In addition to having thousands of NPC characters and more than just having hundreds of different zones to explore, there is a wide variety of historical figures that do not appear in the game who never-the-less play a noteworth part in creating the feel for the game and the world. You will find information on important figures in the history of Vana'diel in this category. According to the game's storyline and timeline, most of the people you will find here are long-dead.
