FFD Castle Lux

Castle Lux.

Castle Lux (ルクス城, Rukusu Jō?) is an area in Final Fantasy Dimensions. It is located near the town of Lux. Initially, the guardsmen Biggs and Wedge bar entry into the castle, but after entering the area Below Castle Lux, the player may return to the castle at any time.

Story[]

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Sol, Diana, and Glaive attempt to gain entry into Castle Lux in order to see Aigis, whom they suspect will be recruited into the Avalonian Empire. When they are barred from entering the castle, Glaive shows Sol and Diana a secret passage below Castle Lux to reach the castle.

Upon exiting it, they emerge in the throne room, and quickly hide, eavesdropping on the conversation between the King and Aigis. The King requests that Aigis go investigate the Crystal, and Aigis accepts, revealing the presence of Sol, Diana, and Glaive, and requesting that they accompany him. The King accepts, and the party leaves to investigate the Crystal.

Shortly after the party finds the crystal at Crystal Temple, they are confronted by the Crystal guardian and Nacht's party. After Nacht's party defeats the Crystal guardian, the crystal shatters and creates a chasm that separates the two parties. Following this event, Castle Lux and the town of Lux disappear, leaving a gaping wave of darkness in their steads.

Spoilers end here.
