Call Wyvern

Call Wyvern is a job ability available to Dragoons in Final Fantasy XI. It is available immediately, at level 1, and has a recast time of 20 minutes. Call Wyvern will do as it describes and summon a Wyvern to come fight along side the Dragoon, or Dragon Knight.
Call Wyvern used to be the Dragoon's two-hour ability, but this was changed by the developer to Spirit Surge. It was viewed that the strength of the dragoon relied too much on their wyvern, which had historically been very easy to kill. Because of this, Dragoons were few in number and they continue to be one of the less popular direct damage jobs.
