Cait Sith (ケット・シー Ketto-Shī), also known as Stray, is a summon who has only appeared in one game in the main series, but has appeared in a few spin-offs.

Cait Sith, mistranslated Stray in the original SNES release, is an Esper and is one of the first four Espers obtained in Zozo. Its attack is called Cat Rain, and inflicts the Confuse status effect to all opponents. Its Hit Rate is 128 and it costs 28 MP. It teaches the following spells:
- Confuse X7
- Imp X5
- Float X2
- At Level Up: Magic Power + 1

Cait Sith appears as a summon on the DMW after obtaining Cait Sith's Megaphone. Courage Boost grants Endurance, Barrier, Magic Barrier, 0 MP Consumption, 0 AP Consumption, Physical and Magical Guard to Zack. The animation is similar to the Star/Star/Star combination of Cait Sith's Slots limit break.

Cait Sith is an earth element card, with six cards under his name. He also appears in the fable Unicorn and the Town Musicians.
