Series appearancesEdit

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia Cait Sith makes a cameo appearance as a tutor for the in-game manuals, explaining Arcade Mode alongside Barret. Cait Sith is also the name of a Ghost Card. The Cait Sith ghost is a Level 66 Sephiroth armed with a full set of Crystal equipment, and has Orange Gem and Shinra Keycard to win via battlegen. The quote on the card, "I'm Cait Sith No. 2! Pleased to meet you" is what Cait Sith says to the party when his second incarnation arrives at the Temple of the Ancients.

—Character profile.

Cait Sith is a playable character who could initially be recruited during the Challenge Event A Night to Remember as the First Time Reward for completing the event's Cargo Ship stage on the Classic difficulty. He has since appeared in The Second Coming.

Assessment

Cait Sith is a Fortuneteller whose combat role is as a Master of Magic.

His stats may be average, but Cait Sith's Mind leaves little doubt that he is a competent support unit. As with Mog, he will most likely play backup to Aerith if she is occupied dealing Holy damage. Even if he stands alone in the party, he functions well as a buffer.
