Cagnazzo is an enemy in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
If Golbez is in the party, Cagnazzo will give his thanks and gratitude to Golbez before dying.
Cagnazzo can be difficult since normally the player isn't sufficiently leveled up to have level 3 spells. Cagnazzo will occasionally counter attacks with the Hold spell, which can inflict Paralysis on a party member. After enough damage is dealt, Cagnazzo will retreat into his shell and start recovering HP. Physical damage at this point is useless.
It's best to have Golbez in the party since he knows level 3 spells by default. The player should have at least another Black Mage in the party, such as Palom and Rydia with level 3 spells; Leonora knows Black Magic but she's not as effective as the others. Depending on the party setup, Blizzaga and Thundaga spells should be used. Rydia's Eidolons can help but if she knows either Blizzaga, or Thundaga, she should focus on them instead. Rosa, Porom, and Leonora should focus on healing and buffing the party with Haste as well as slowing down Cagnazzo with the Slow spell. Anybody with physical might should constantly attack or perform their unique abilities, such as Kain's Jump or Yang's Focus. It is helpful to have Yang and Ursula equip Lightning and Ice Claws to dramatically increase damage.
The party should try and finish him off quickly with Magic while he's still in his shell.
