The Cactuaroni is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It looks like an albino variant of the regular Cactuar.

Stats[]

Battle[]

It has high HP and a high Stagger threshold, but not much offensive power.

Strategy[]

The player should use a mixture of Saboteurs and Ravagers to stabilize the chain gauge and inflict debuffs, and then switch to Tri-disaster (RAV/RAV/RAV) to stagger the creature as quickly as possible. Once it is staggered, the player should switch to Cerberus in order to take advantage of the monster's weakened state, keeping it in the air with Launch. The creature should perish before the end of its first stagger.

Paradigm Pack[]

Only Cactuaroni, Schrodinger, and Sahagin Prince have the Auto-Haste ability available for infusion (Yeoman and Samovira have it red-locked). Auto-Haste, Resist Elements +30%, and Auto-Tetradefense are the only three abilities with the highest (ninth) rank, so they can never be replaced by other abilities.
