The Cactuar is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2 found among the long grass of the Plains of Eternity in Archylte Steppe during sunny weather.

It does not have much HP and can be taken down quickly if the party is using an offensive paradigm. If left alive for a while, the Cactuar will use an ability called Cactus Dance and transform into the Giant Cactuar. Both entries are needed to complete the Bestiary.
