Cactuars are enemies in Final Fantasy VI. They are little running cacti that live in the desert and have an extremely high Evasion and Defense. Thus, it is advised that characters use unblockable, Defense-ignoring attacks on the Cactuar, such as its own 1,000 Needles. It attacks by wasting a turn "Bundling up something..." before using 1000 Needles. After repeating this script several times, it may do a "Workload increases tenfold!" and cast ten 1,000 Needles in a row, dealing a total of 10,000 HP damage. They are coveted for giving 10 magic AP when defeated.
