The crab NM Wake Warder Wanda can often be found wandering on the Khoonta Dunes.

Stone Monument[]

Position: (J-5)

A Stone Monument may be found in the northeast corner of Buburimu Peninsula, placed there during the Crystal era by Enid Ironheart, daughter of the famous explorer Gwynham Ironheart. It reads:

Buburimu is famous for the miraculous rocks of Gibubu, meaning “lighthouse” in the Tarutaru tongue. True to their name, the spires help sailors and fishermen weather the storms.
Like crooked towers they loom, each adorned with a great crystal that glimmers at night.
I theorize that here, in the days of old, was ore of the highest purity, known in our legends as orichalcum.
I believe the ages brought decay to the surrounding bedrock, whilst the ore itself remained. The Tarutaru then wrought their magic upon them to make them shimmer everlastingly.
Still, however, I yearn to know why the ore was here in the first place.

Planar Rift[]

Position: (F-9), (H-9), (J-9)

These mysterious rifts are disturbances in the fabric of time and space. It is from here that extradimensional invaders of unknown origin, collectively known as "Voidwalkers", breach into Vana'diel. To stem the tide of invasion, adventurers may volunteer themselves in Voidwatch operations to dispatch these intruders at the source. The fiend Botulus Rex can be found at the Planar Rifts here.
