Final Fantasy Legend III
Edit
Borgin brings Arthur, Curtis, and Gloria to the Elder of Dharm in the Present World before the start of the game. He also tells him of the coming dangers. When Arthur arrives in the Future World, he learns that a band of rebels which composes of Borgin, Jupiah, and Dr. Quacer have already left for Pureland in the Talon2.
Dr. Quacer and Borgin lives in Talonburg, but leaves for the Goht region before Arthur arrives at Talonburg. Arthur finally meets Borgin within the Eastern Ruins, and tells them to destroy the Barrier Machine while he goes off to investigate Mt. Goht. He returns to find the Barrier Machine has been destroyed along with Dion, he tells Arthur that Dion saved their lives and they must not let his sacrifice be in vain. They have to defeat Xagor at Mt. Goht, and then go through the hole in the Talon2 before joining the party.
After witnessing Talon2 flying by itself at Mt. Goht, he tells Arthur that his father's brain made it possible. After Xagor's defeat, and returning to the Future World. He tells Arthur that he's proud of what he has become.
SaGa 3: Jikuu no Hasha - Shadow or Light
Edit
In the DS remake, the events of the story are the same, with the exception of the true ending where Borgin is the true final boss. Borgin reveals to the party he is the same entity as the Wanderer, and that he masterminded everything to get them to destroy both Xagor and Sol, because to destroy one and not the other would create an imbalance. Borgin tried to eliminate the threat of Xagor many times before, and once led Jupiah and Faye on an expedition to Pureland, but he was afraid they would both destroy Xagor before he fused with Sol. Borgin then told Fenrir about Faye, resulting in her kidnapping and allowing Borgin to stab Jupiah in the back. Borgin also fixed the Talon so it could only travel between three specific time zones. The party confront Borgin, who leaves the party after being defeated and vanishes.

Trivia
Edit
- Borgin's role in the story has many allusions to Odin, the chief Norse god. His ultimate goal is to destroy Xagor, who is known as 'Ragna' (short for Ragnarok) in the Japanese version. His alter ego, the 'Wanderer', was also Odin's alter ego when traveling the mortal world. In addition to this, he comes equipped with Gungnir, Odin's fabled lance.
