The Boomerang (ブーメラン Boomeran) is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. They are throwing weapons that are usually associated with a Thief or a Ninja job class.

Thieves, Ninjas, Rangers, and Onion Knights can wield boomerangs. Prince Alus also uses a boomerang as his weapon, though he never uses it in battle and only uses low-level white magic.

Boomerangs are a type of throwing weapon, which are reusable and require no ammunition, but are only available to Warriors, Thieves, and Rangers. A related weapon is the chakram, which is available to a much wider range of jobs.
