The Bomb Fragment (ボムのかけら or ボムの欠片, Bomu no Kakera?), also known as Bomb, Firebomb, Bomb Cinder, or Shrapnel, is a recurring, single-use item that is frequently used to deal Fire damage to one or more targets. It is often described as the remains of an exploded Bomb.

Bomb Fragment can be bought for 300 G at Invidia, Urbeth and Liberte, as well as found in Arbor and Invidia and dropped from Garm, Hellhound, and Rock Golem.

Bomb Fragment is an item used during Battle Music Sequences. When a monster's HP reaches 50%, Bomb Fragment deals heavy damage to it. It is obtained randomly after completing a Music Stage.

Bravely Default description

In Bravely Default, Bomb Fragments deal moderate fire damage to all enemies (or allies). It can be bought from the Adventurer (Norende Village Combat Item Shop unlocked) for 200 pg, found in Florem, Grapp Keep, and Underflow, or dropped and stolen from Orthros (ch 1, 5, 6, 7, 8; red head).
