Bobo Birds are symbols of good fortune, according to an Olgan myth. The founder of this inn bought the statue, and it has been passed down for generations.
The Bobo Bird Statue is found in Final Fantasy IX at the Business District in Lindblum. It is not an item that the player receives, but it can interacted with it and show the description displayed above. It is unknown who or what the Olgan myth stems from, but the statue appears to be a treasured keepsake by the innkeepers of Lindblum.
The Bobo Bird is also part of Ragtime Mouse's trivia. He asks the question, "Bobo bird is a bird that brings you fortune", and the answer is "False". This is because the Bobo Birds are "symbols" of good fortune.
