This robotic, machine-like spider is a tough foe to defeat, unless Zack has the Costly Punch Command Materia equipped. The player should guard against its attack, then hit the spider with Costly Punch or magic. The best magic to use is Energy. This can hit up to five times. If Zack has a Magic stat over 200 and Break Damage Limit, this will cause more damage than Costly Punch.
