Black Magic (黒魔法, Kuro Mahō?) is a skillset in Final Fantasy IV -Interlude- that deals with offensive and elemental magic. The Black Magic spells are known by default in most cases and very similar to Black Magic in its predecssor. It is used by Rydia?, Palom, and Rydia.

EtymologyEdit

Black magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for evil and selfish purposes. With respect to the philosophy of left-hand path and right-hand path, black magic is the malicious counterpart of benevolent white magic.

  • The magic circle effect on the Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection has Greek words inside the inner and outer circle areas of the magic circle. It also has three images of the principle elements: Fire, Ice, and Lightning.
