Template:IVCCI Enemy The Black Flan is an enemy in Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-. It is one of the tougher Flan-type enemies found within the Tower of Babil, having a respectable sum of HP, but it is susceptible to many status effects. They can drop the rare Artemis Arrows.

Etymology
The word Flan refers to an open pastry or sponge cake containing a sweet or savory filling. A typical flan of this sort is round, with shortcrust pastry, usually coated with sweet syrup. It is similar to a custard tart or a South African melktert.
