Bishop is a job in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. It is usable exclusively by the Bangaa, and is their only magic-focused job. You should note that as a religious job, it is the only one that can cast the magic spell Holy. You'll have to wait one turn to be able make some real damage as a Bishop, because all of their damage spells cost more than 10 MP. However, they can learn Halve MP, which will reduce the costs low enough for them to cast everything but Holy and Break in one turn. Due to changes in the Law System in Final Fantasy Tactics A2, the Bishop's Judge skill has been replaced with Pilfer, which steals Loot rather than Judge Points. The Bishop is unlocked with two White Monk skills. Their decent HP and resistance makes them more durable than other magic focused jobs, and with a magic stat that rivals those of Time mages. The Bishops skill-set is versatile able to do moderate elemental damage, cause nuisances to foes , and offers support to allies in the brink of battle. With the arrival of the Trickster, it is quite common to give Tricksters the Intercession secondary A-Ability since their superb magic growth is somewhat counterbalanced by moves that don't take full advantage of the stat.

A notable Bishop is Tromel that supervises the Food Stuffs quest chain as part of his apprenticeship for the Poison tasters guild "the Iron Stomach". As with possibly all members of the guild he is none to picky about what he eats and seems to enjoy unconventional cuisine.
