Final Fantasy XI
Template:FFXI Spell Bio II is an enhanced version of the original Bio spell in Final Fantasy XI. It deals gradual Dark damage and weakens the afflicted target's physical attacks. The rate of damage, the duration, and the attack stat reduction are all improved over the original Bio spell. The Bio status can be cured with Erase, Esuna, Exuviation, or numerous items, but not by Poisona or Antidotes.
Bio II will overwrite the effects of Dia and Dia II, but can be overwritten by Dia III. The scroll which teaches Bio II can be bought in Selbina, Windurst Waters, and Aht Urhgan Whitegate, or obtained from other players via the Auction House or Bazaars.

Legacy Final Fantasy XIV
Bio II appeared as an ability in the original Final Fantasy XIV as a spell learned by Thaumaturges at rank 36. The spell dealt umbral-elemental damage over time and reduced the attack power of enemies within an area of effect. After patch 1.20, the Thaumaturge class could not longer use Bio II and no other class could use the ability.
