Behemoth (Final Fantasy Tactics)

"Ferocious hoofed monster with large horns, a brilliant mane, a thick tail, and a strong body."
—Description

Behemoths are powerful quadruped monsters in Final Fantasy Tactics. They rank amongst the most difficult monsters in the game due to their superb HP and physical attack stats. In addition to their melee strikes, each race of Behemoth can learn a destructive magical attack via the "Monster Skill" Support Ability.

[edit] Races

  • Rank I: Behemoth

Behemoths are the "weakest" of their genre, but they still pack the devastating horns and teeth that can take out weaker mages in one hit.

  • Rank II: Behemoth King

King Behemoths are basically Behemoths with even more HP.

  • Rank III: Dark Behemoth

If it's possible for King Behemoths to get any more difficult, the Dark Behemoth can pack on nearly 900 HP at optimum levels. "Almagest" is a great magical attack. A Dark Behemoth is one of the few monsters powerful enough to be a worthy addition to your party.
