The Metalworks of Bastok is a location in Final Fantasy XI. It houses the Republic of Bastok's key metal manufacturing industries as well as the top governmental offices, including the offices of the President. Dual elevators carry visitors between the upper and lower levels of the Metalworks. Between the elevators on the top floor is the laboratory of Cid, the most renowned inventor in Vana'diel.

In addition to the presidential offices, the top floor of the Metalworks also houses the embassies for San d'Oria, Windurst, and Jeuno.

In Bastok, the Metalworks is widely renowned as the location where the brightest minds of the Republic gather. In addition to housing Cid's workshop, the Metalworks is also a large industrial hub, boasting a large Blacksmithing facility.
