Bandersnatch is a boss in Final Fantasy XIII. It is fought alongside Jabberwocky in Orphan's Cradle, and later appears as a regular enemy.

Strategy
Edit
Jabberwocky will regularly heal Bandersnatch to full health, as such it is necessary to kill Jabberwocky first. It is immune to physical damage and resists magic damage as well, but can be inflicted with Imperil and Deshell to deal more damage with spells, meaning formations with Ravagers and Saboteurs work well, as Saboteur spells also make its chain gauge deplete slower, same as Commando's skills.
Etymology
Edit
The Jabberwocky and Bandersnatch enemies are a reference to Lewis Carroll's poem "Jabberwocky". Neither creature is ever fully described in appearance, but they are accepted to be unworldly and vicious entities.
