[edit] Battle

Be sure to equip any Thunder-resistant accessories to minimize the damage caused by Bahamut's Lightning Bolt and Megaflare. Lightning Bolt should be avoidable, but there's no way escaping Megaflare that will roughly deplete 500 - 600 points of Zack's HP. Use Potions or Cure to keep Zack's HP above 800.

Try to land some critical hits or normal sword attack to Bahamut while it is on the central rock area. It is impossible to deliver a sword attack when it's on the distant rock area, so try to cast some Fire or Blizzard spells on it. DMW and Hit-and-Run tactic will do well against this foe.
