BGH251F2, a.k.a. Iron Clad for its defense capability, is a boss in Final Fantasy VIII. It is fought twice, being the first time at the Missile Base against Selphie's team, and later by Squall's team at Fisherman's Horizon, where it was out of control because of the damage it suffered during the Missile Base's destruction.

[edit] Battle

During the first fight with Selphie's team, BGH251F2 will be controlled by Galbadian Soldiers. Whenever the Captain gives orders to "Standby for Beam Cannon!", it is a warning that the machine will use the Beam Cannon move. After it is defeated, the battle will be continued by 1 Elite Soldier and 2 Galbadian Soldiers.

At the second battle with Squall's team, BGH251F2 will also use Beam Cannon; however, the damage from this attack is significantly lower, and can be halved by Shell status. After being defeated, it falls on the water and Selphie's team gets off it, saying they survived the explosion of the base by using the robot as cover, but could not control it.
