Automaton (鉄巨人, tetsu kyojin?), also known as Steel Giant, is a monster type in Final Fantasy Tactics. Only two monsters have this monster job, the friendly Construct 8 and the hostile Construct 7. Since they are robots, they cannot comprehend the concept of gods and therefore have zero Faith, meaning they can neither use nor be hit by magick.
Automatons are immune to Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, Holy, and Dark elemental attacks, but weak to Lightning elemental attacks.
Stats
This taciturn general-purpose robot is a relic of a lost civilization's technology. It exists only to serve its master.
