Aura Staff (波動の杖, Hadou no Tsue?, lit. Wave Staff), also known as Aura, Energy, Lunar, and Kinesis, is a recurring staff in the series.

AppearancesEdit

Final Fantasy IVEdit

IV Aura Staff is a high-ranked staff, only beaten by the Sage's Staff and Rune Staff in the original versions. It provides 36 Attack, 10 Accuracy, and +10 Spirit, and can be equipped by Rydia (child and adult), Tellah, Rosa, Fusoya, and Porom. When used as an item in battle, it can cast Dispel. It can be bought for 7,000 gil at the Feymarch, and initially equipped on Fusoya when he joins the party.

In the 3D versions, Aura Staff is the third strongest staff beaten again by the Sage's Staff and Rune Staff, and now provides 26 Attack, 100 Accuracy, +5 Spirit, and still casts Dispel when used as an item in battle. It can be equipped by everyone originally except adult Rydia, and can be obtained in the same ways as before with the addition of finding one in the Sylph Cave. If Golbez is hacked into the party, he'll be able to equip it.

Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-Edit

FFIV-I- Aura Staff returns as the second strongest staff bested by the Rune Staff. It provides the same stats as before, but can only be used by Rosa and Porom and is bought for 7,000 gil on the Falcon.

Final Fantasy IV: The After YearsEdit

FFIVTAY Aura Staff returns as a high-ranked staff, providing the same stats as before. It can now be equipped by Cecil, Ceodore, Rosa, Porom, Leonora, Golbez, and Harley. It can found in the Lair of the Father or in Porom's Challenge Dungeon.
