Aura Ball in Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.

Reduce ATK and silence all enemies.

Aura Ball (波動球, Hadōkyū?) is a recurring ability in the series. It is an attack used exclusively by Cloud of Darkness, originating from the Dissidia series.

AppearancesEdit

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia Aura Ball is an aerial HP attack for Cloud of Darkness, learned at the start of the game. It requires 40 CP to equip (20 when mastered), 180 AP to master, and has Ranged High priority. By holding Square, Cloud of Darkness sends up to five orbs of dark energy that slowly spread out to track the opponent, and by releasing the button, will cause the orbs to detonate.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia012 Aura Ball returns as a HP attack for Cloud of Darkness, now requiring 30 CP to equip (15 when mastered) and 130 AP to master. It is otherwise identical to its previous incarnation.

EtymologyEdit

In parapsychology and many forms of spiritual practice, an aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object (like the halo or aureola in religious art). The depiction of such an aura often connotes a person of particular power or holiness.
