- Have you visited Luca? Such a lovely place, it is. Everyone there enjoys life to the fullest. What good is life if you don't enjoy it? You have to have some fun! Are you listening? Life is all about... Bah, listen to me, starting another lecture. Forget I said anything.
- People always told me my lectures are boring. But don't people want to lead fulfilling lives? You only live once. Best to have fun doing it! I just want people to feel the same. The Luca Goers taught me this. I owe everything to them. What's that? You've never heard of the Luca Goers!? Unbelievable! Now I'm in a sour mood. Begone for today!
- Forgive me for my prior outburst. It's just that I get so nostalgic about the days when I ran the bar back in Luca. I used to watch blitzball and drink myself silly with the regular patrons. Free drinks for all if the Goers won! Drinks and lectures, that is! People weren't too happy about the latter. But those were the good times. That bar was my life. It meant everything to me.
- Please, I'm begging you, take me back to Luca just one time! I know it's sort of selfish to ask, but I want to see my bar one last time. I wonder how everyone is doing...
One Archaeothyris was created from the spirit of the know-it-all owner of a bar in Luca. Though he expected it to be closed since his passing, Archaeothyris finds his friends are running the tavern in his place. Departing to the Farplane, Archaeothyris gives a final lecture to his friends to care for the bar.

Battle
Its low Magic Defense and weakness to Ice make it an easy foe to deal with. However, be on guard with Softs as it can inflict Petrify, and carry lots of Antidotes as well to counteract Poison Fang.
Etymology
Archaeothyris was an amniote which lived 320 million years ago, in the Middle Carboniferous period. It is the oldest undisputed synapsid known. It was found in Nova Scotia, the same locality as Hylonomus, and Petrolacosaurus, all of which resemble Archaeothyris.
