Arc is one of the main characters in the remake of Final Fantasy III. In the opening FMV, Arc is shown as a Black Mage and a Scholar.
[edit] Story
Arc is Luneth's childhood friend, and is also raised by Topapa. Once Luneth has found the Wind Crystal, he goes back to Ur, only to find Arc being bullied. He runs away, only to have Luneth follow him. Arc tries to be brave, but he can't stand the sight of the cursed people in Kazus, and so sticks with Luneth for the rest of the adventure.

Arc is very intelligent and has a love for reading. He's not very brave, but he is not at all a coward. He is also very shy, making him a polar opposite to his best friend Luneth. However, he is very noble and will help those in need or those being bullied as he was. He is described as the keeper of the light of kindness.
Arc is quick to become friends with Alus Restor over the course of the story. This is probably because Alus is very similar to him in the fact that he is bullied and Arc understands how that feels and relates to that.
