Aquamarine (アクアマリン, Akuamarin?) is a recurring item in the series.

Restores HP. It cannot be used in the field. Equip as an Add-on.

Aquamarine is an item and an Add-on that teaches the abilities Leviathan and HP +10%, and when used as an item, restores HP equal to the amount of Aquamarine in the player's inventory x20.

It can be found at the Iifa Tree or by using a Dead Pepper where Shimmering Island used to be on disc 4 (x10), stolen from Quina (Mirror), or by using x4 Ore in the shrine in Daguerreo.

Leviathan's Tsunami attack gains more power the more Aquamarines in the player's inventory, as follows:

Tsunami attack power = 59 + No. of Aquamarines

XIV Aquamarine is a type of gem extracted from ore deposits near Costa del Sol in Eastern La Noscea. It is chiefly used by Goldsmiths to craft various mid-level jewelry intended for healers.

Aquamarine is a trade accessory, which grants Luck +1 when equipped, and can be obtained from the Shop by trading 1,000 gil and a Dusty Elixir, as well as from the Duel Colosseum Airship Course.
