Andoria Kaya Tranka Fam Forturio (アンドリア・カヤ・トランカ・ファム・フォーチュリオ, Andoria Kaya Toranka Famu Fōchurio^?) is a supporting character from Final Fantasy Type-0, and is voiced by Megumi Hayashibara.

Appearance and PersonalityEdit

Andoria is the queen of Concordia, kingdom of the dragon masters. She is in touch with the Queen Dragon, a manifestation of the kingdom's Sōryū Crystal. She respects order and discipline and has a noble and fair spirit. According to the Crimson Codex, Andoria is 47 years old and 135cm tall.

StoryEdit

During Class Zero's secret infiltration to destroy Byakko's secret weapon, they stumbled upon Nimbus and engage in a fight with him after successfully destroying Byakko's weapon. A strong Nimbus easily overpowers the class, but does not manage to finish them off due to Andoria's untimely appearance, who arrives in the Milites Empire with a Concordian diplomatic envoy. Flying towards Byakko with a mass army of Sōryū dragons and commanding them to lay down their weapons, she and Concordia invoke the ancient Fabula Conventions, forcing an immediate ceasefire between the Byakko and Suzaku forces.

Seeking to achieve a solution through peace, Andoria tries to intervene between Suzaku and Byakko's conflict. In the game's fourth chapter, she finally makes a minor but important appearance, where Andoria is introduced to Class Zero while they are in the Milites Empire and the are shocked by her status. She speaks to them and, in one scene, whispers something to Machina. He responds with surprise, but it is not revealed what she said.

Unfortunately, her intervention comes at the cost of her life, when she is secretly murdered by the Milites Empire under the command of Cid Aulstyne, assumingly as means to incite war between Concordia and Rubrum.

The news of her death was later delivered to a devastated Class Zero and would be avenged by Celestia after the Concordia King forges an agreement with Cid, oblivious that he was the mastermind behind Andoria's murder. Instead, Class Zero were accused of murdering her, as they were last seen with Andoria before her untimely demise.
