Aloeidai is a boss in Final Fantasy XIII-2, appearing when Serah, Mog, and Noel attempt to gain access to the Paddraean Archaeopolis in 10 AF. Though defeated, a dying Aloeidai executes a last resort move by creating a spacetime vortex to suck its opponents in, but Hope cancels the attack.

BattleEdit

Similar in appearance to Gogmagog, Aloeidai uses Ruinga in addition to its regular attack and Swipe. Aloeidai uses a ground attack called Landshatter, and is the only enemy in the game to be able to do so.

StrategyEdit

The party should begin with Relentless Assault or Cerberus to stabilize the chain gauge, then switch to Tri-disaster to boost it as quickly as possible. The player should switch to a defensive paradigm when it uses Swipe. Once the creature is staggered, switching to Cerberus will deal a high amount of damage to the target quickly.
