Aloeidai is a boss in Final Fantasy XIII-2, appearing when Serah, Mog, and Noel attempt to gain access to the Paddraean Archaeopolis in 10 AF. Though defeated, a dying Aloeidai executes a last resort move by creating a spacetime vortex to suck its opponents in, but Hope cancels the attack. The battle music is "Worlds Collide".
Datalog[]
Aloeidai is the mortal enemy of the giant Gogmagog. The legends say that in order to exact revenge against Gogmagog, who had caused him to be banished from his homeland, Aloeidai cursed Gogmagog to wander forever in the rifts between eras.
Aloeidai loathes all things that live in this world, and when he is defeated, he twists the surrounding spacetime in an effort to take his enemies with him into death.
Stats[]
Battle[]
Similar in appearance to Gogmagog, Aloeidai uses Ruinga in addition to its regular attack and Swipe, as well as a ground attack called Landshatter. Landshatter resembles Quake, an earth-based spell from Final Fantasy XIII that does not exist in Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Strategy[]
The party should begin with Relentless Assault or Cerberus to stabilize the chain gauge, then switch to Tri-disaster to boost it as quickly as possible. The player should switch to a defensive paradigm when it uses Swipe. Once the creature is staggered, switching to Cerberus will deal a high amount of damage to the target quickly.
