Akihiko Yoshida (よしだ あきひこ">吉田 明彦, Yoshida Akihiko^?) is a character designer for Square Enix. He helps create the character images and wardrobe that will appear on the character in the game. Yoshida joined Squaresoft, the company which would merge later with Enix to become Square Enix, in 1995. His works include character design for Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII, and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. He has also worked extensively on the Nintendo DS remake of Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, and is the main designer of Final Fantasy XIV. Work for the company he has done not under a Final Fantasy title includes Vagrant Story, which does have some relation to a few games in the Final Fantasy series.

Prior to working on Final Fantasy Tactics, Akihiko did work with Quest, along with Yasumi Matsuno, on Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together and Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, a pair of strategy role-playing games which are widely considered to be the predecessors of Final Fantasy Tactics.
