Adventurer Medals are special types of enhancement in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King. They are granted to adventurers who have completed a behest in which a boss was defeated. Only the leader of the party receives the medal, and any medals that are in stock at the end of a game carry over to a new playthrough.

Status Medals[]

Adventurers medals

Willpower and Intellect medals.

These are the standard medals that can be awarded and the first ones that are available. The general effect increases with the difficulty of the behest. Lower-leveled behests will garner only a +1 or +2, higher-level +3 or +4 and so on.

The different medals are:

  • Strength: Increases the damage dealt by melee attacks.
  • Toughness: Increases the amount of damage mitigated from attacks.
  • Dexterity: Increases the accuracy of melee attacks.
  • Agility: Increases a character's chance to dodge incoming attacks.
  • Intellect: Increases the potency of black magic spells.
  • Willpower: Increases the potency of white magic spells.

Special Medals[]

These medals are given to the king when certain condition are met. The funding of an Adventurer Shop or Job-type research past a certain point will produce a Special Medal as a sub-product. When a family's happiness gauge is completely filled, there is a chance the family will award a medal based on the buildings near their house.

After clearing the game, a number of Status+ medals for the next playthrough are awarded based on the game's score of your performance. The Status+ medals double the value that a normal Status medal would have given.
