Adamant Isle Grotto

The Adamant Isle Grotto (アダマンとうのどうくつ), also known as Adamant Grotto and Adamant, is a location in Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. It can only be reached using the Hovercraft. A family of Small People live there, and the father collects tails. If Cecil brings him a Rat Tail, he will give Cecil the Adamantite ore, which can be taken to Kokkol's house with the sword of legend and he can refine Excalibur out of it.
In the Nintendo DS version, powerful enemies such as the Red Dragon have a slim chance of dropping additional tails, which may be brought to the man at the Grotto for additional Adamant and Onion equipment.
