Again I was hoping for a main villain that uses more conventional firearm weapons like revolvers, berettas, glocks, smith and wessons, desert eagles and the like with some magical flair to it. I know the FF series hasn't done anything like that yet, so it's just food for thought. Honestly I wanted to see some Gun Fu like from that movie Equilibrium with Christian Bale with a mixture of ricochet trick shots and magic.

Ah yes, you're speaking of Yazoo. I wasn't sure he counted since his weapon, the Velvet Nightmare ,is a handgun designed after two parallel swords, but with gun functionality. Same with a gunblade as opposed to being a conventional firearm.

Would Dyne count as a gunslinger or sharpshooter since he uses an automatic gun prosthetic attached to his body? I mean that would be like comparing a swordsman to a man with a hand-prosthetic that doubles as a dagger. Just doesn't seem right.

Ah yes, now I remember. His name was Logos from Final Fantasy X-2. He was one of LeBlanc's two main henchman. I didn't remember him all that well due to being such a minor character. Here's hoping for another villain in the future who uses guns to a level that matches how Sephiroth can use a sword. I even made a fanfic of such a villain to be honest.

Thank you all for your responses and your reasons on why and how one would win over the other and why. Looks like the two could beat each other based on different methods based on what I am seeing here. Here's hoping Beatrix gets released as a character in another Dissidia game. Same with Ardyn.
